The 2026 IEEE SMCS International Summer School on Artificial Intelligence for Cognitive Technologies (IEEE ISACT 2026) will be held from the 29th to the 3rd of July, 2026, in Singapore. This event will be hosted by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, a national public research university founded in 1981 and elevated to full university status in 1991. NTU is Singapore's second oldest autonomous university. NTU's main campus is located in western Singapore and covers 200 hectares (490 acres), making it the largest university campus in the country. As of 2024, NTU enrolled 37,458 students and employed 7,997 faculty and staff. The university is organised into several colleges and schools covering engineering, business, science, computing, humanities, education, and medicine. NTU has established itself as a comprehensive national public research university with extensive global academic and industry partnerships, making it an ideal venue for this international summer school.
